The North of Scotland Cup is contested by members of the North of Scotland FA in a straight knockout format. In the main, these clubs are drawn from the Highland League and North Caledonian League.
This year’s competition will be played early in the season on midweek dates. The regionalised format introduced last season has been retained this year.
Ross County and Inverness Caley Thistle are fielding teams in the competition this season, after not doing so last time round – these are likely to be Under 20 teams.
Brora Rangers have won the cup in each of the last two seasons.
