The Alex Jack Cup is a well established competition contested by clubs from the East of Scotland FA who are not full members of the Scottish Football Association or are otherwise qualified to compete in the Scottish Cup.
There were twenty-two entries last time it was contested in 2019-20 with Musselburgh Athletic beating Oakley United in the final. This season the entry is up to 27 clubs.
The competition format is straight knockout and the winners will enter a three way play off with the Southern Counties Alba Cup and Strathclyde Cup winners for a place in the 2022-23 Scottish Cup.
