Lowland League Cup 21-22

As the name suggests, the Lowland League Cup is contested by the member clubs of the Lowland League.

This season, it is moving to a group format for the initial stages, whereas in the past it was a knockout competition from the outset.  It has usually been played as an end of season competition – this season it moves to a March start.

Sixteen of the eighteen Lowland League clubs are competing – the Celtic and Rangers ‘B’ teams are not.

The last competition was in 2018-19 when BSC Glasgow, now Broomhill, defeated East Stirlingshire in the final.
