SWPL 1 – 22-23

SWPL 1 is the top tier of women’s football in Scotland.

It has expanded from ten clubs to twelve for this season, the first under the auspices of the SPFL.  Dundee United and Glasgow Women were promoted to increase the numbers, with no relegation taking place.

Rangers are the defending champions – they halted Glasgow City’s remarkable run of fourteen consecutive titles last season
