The East of Scotland Junior Cup is contested by the member clubs of the SJFA East Region, which have reduced drastically this season from 60 to 36 as a result of clubs moving to the ‘senior’ East of Scotland League. Last season’s winners, Penicuik Athletic are one of the clubs to have moved.
The competition is played in a straight knockout format with the final often being one of the last junior fixtures of the season.
