North Championship 22-23

The North Championship is the second tier of the Junior football structure in the North Region SJFA.

It is part of the Scottish pyramid at Tier 7, sitting below the North Premier League.

This year, sixteen clubs are playing at this level, following the decision to combine last season’s First and Second Divisions last year.

Lossiemouth United and Banks o’ Dee JFC are new clubs this season, the latter being a second team for the Highland League side.

There were due to be 18 clubs this season – Whitehills went into abeyance in early July, while Dufftown were belatedly promoted to the Premier League following the withdrawal of Hall Russell United.
